I recently received my new Studio Desktop in the post - firstly ten out of ten for speedy delivery! I’m pretty sure I made the right choice here and having had my old PC for about five years it’s high time I upgraded. I’ve never used a Dell before but I really like my new computer. Compared to the old one it’s REALLY fast and doesn’t make the horrible humming sound the old one did!
I also used to get a lot of issues with Wi-Fi. I’m not at all techie and having spoken to both my isp and neighbour who’s a computer whizz on several occasions, the old one never seemed to work properly and was always chucking me off. The wireless card on my Dell is faultless and connected straight away - after ten hours of solid use it hasn’t chucked me off once so must be pretty robust and a vast improvement on the last one.
I can’t say that I’m overly impressed with Windows Vista but that might be because I was used to using Windows XP. The kids are also happy with the computer as they’re always playing games online and apparently the graphics card gets the thumbs up (and there were plenty of positive sounds from hubby who spends hours locked away in his room surfing in the middle of the night!). I wish I’d have upgraded to Dell sooner but am pretty confident this will last another five years and be give the whole family great computing at a really, really good price. Cheers Dell!
